SAVING MONEY FOR TRAVELING - HOW ?!

TRAVELING BY AIRWAY


Flight ticket: you should make a plan and spend time on surfing some websites of different airlines on the internet. Therefore, you yourself can compare the prices given by those airlines in order to choose the best route for your flight.

Combining flight route: You can also combine the flight route of different airline in order to economize the expenses of your trip. It sounds a little complicated and might bring to you some problem but it definitely helps you to save a lot of money comparing with the case that you choose the straight airline.

Baggage: Now, many airline company often charge you more money if your baggage is over weight. Therefore, you should remember that don't use over size luggage and over the limited weight. Try to bring one luggage per person, and it also the best way to economize during your trip. If you are person who love shopping, you should take some spaces inside your baggage for the souvenirs.

Try to book the ticket which indicates that you can return back exactly the airport that your flight take off at first. It will be more easier for you to complete all the procedures at the airport. Moreover, because you know that airport before, so it will be also easier for you to find means of transportation to go back home.


HOTEL or HOSTEL ?

  

If you really want to lower the cost for traveling, please put a little effort and time to find the information. Although the prices for one night in the 5-star hotel is so expensive, you can choose normal hotel or a hostel to decrease the expense. You can refer to some websites on the internet, using searching engine (Google, AOL, MSN, Yahoo, etc) about the local accommodation for travelers or backpackers.

Room division is also a good idea/solution for economize the expense. If you go in a family or friends, the cost for renting will be about one third (1/3) to a half of the total cost for the room.


CURRENCY


Exchange rate: you should take notice of the foreign exchange rate of the currency of which place you will go. Normally, at the airport or even in the hotel, they often provide exchange money service for travelers. However, you should learn about it before your trips, and if the rate of that currency is lower in your country, you should exchange some cash immediately before you go to the country that you plan for your traveling.

Cash: you should exchange some before your trip starting. Nevertheless, if you bring a lot of cash, it's not a good idea because you can lose it or drop it while moving among the visiting places. Moreover, bringing a few cash can restrain the temptation for shopping.


EATING


Make a plan for eating. It's better if you find out the information about restaurants, hotel/hostel in which you will come. You can find the suitable restaurants which not only suit your taste but also help you to economize your budget; the information can be found on internet or through the experiences of your friends/buddies. If you are subjective in this field, you may pay the penalty for it because most of the time, the prices of meal for foreigners are often higher than the local people. Believe me!


Cooking by yourself: many people choose this way. If the meals in the country you come do not meet your taste, cooking by yourself is a good way for you, not only for saving money but also appetizing.

You don't need to eat breakfast at the hotel/hostel because the meals in hotel/hostel where you stay may be more expensive than outside, and it may also not suit your taste. Find and enjoy your meals at the other restaurants around your hotel/hostel, you may discover some ideal places with the perfect breakfast and a cup of amazing coffee not inside the hotel.


RENTING TRANSPORTATION MEANS


Be careful when choosing means of transport: it is very necessary because you are a traveler, you do not proficient the area to which you travel. Thus, choosing a good means of transport is very important because you're a  tourist and not proficient in areas you visit. Choosing a good vehice help you you minimize the risks on the way to your visit. Moreover, check carefully to make sure that your rental vehice was fully insured. 

Size of vehice: If you're accustomed to drive 4 places car, it is best to hire a car have the same size and easily drive.

Driving side: If you if you're accustomed to drive on the right but you travel to a country where driving on the left, the best you shouldn't rent a car to drive but to hire a taxi or use public transport system. This is the best way to ensure that no damage to you.


SHOPPING

Duty free goods: In airports, they have spaces for duty-free goods for tourists. Arrival at the airport, you should spend 1 to 2 hours to walk around the shops and note on prices. When you go shopping at the shopping center in the country to which you travel, you will have a comparison of prices between goods and duty-free goods in the center to make decisions to buy or not.

Do not forget to get tax refunds: In some countries tourism policy is the tax refund for tourists, you should learn about the country to which you travel before leaving to know that to have a policy or not.
